All customer payments for services provided through the Assembly Pros platform are processed by Assembly Pros using the credit card that the customer provided upon booking the appointment.
Unless otherwise specifically instructed to do so by Assembly Pros, payment for services is never to be collected from the customer by the technician.
Collecting payment directly from the customer (excluding tips) will be considered intentional fraudulent activity and will be dealt with accordingly, including but not limited to: immediate removal from the Assembly Pros platform, withholding of pending payments, and/or legal action.
If the customer has questions regarding payment, or needs to change their payment method, instruct them to contact Assembly Pros Customer Support at 800-989-3089, or via the Chat Box located throughout assemblypros.com.
Occasionally customers will dispute a charge on their credit card. The reason this happens is typically one of the following:
Customer mistakenly didn't recognize the charge.
Customer is unhappy with the work performed.
Customer is trying to get service for free.
When a customer initiates a credit card chargeback, Assembly Pros has to submit evidence to the credit card processor that the charges are legitimate. Because of this, it is vitally important that you always follow the Job Confirmation process in its entirety, take and retain plenty of job photos, and let us know of any issues or complications. In the event of a chargeback, we may contact to you for additional information about what occurred during the job and to obtain any proof you may have that the job was completed appropriately.
